Jennifer Bishop is an aspiring writer. She has had a few college professors say that her papers were good, she wrote well in high school back in the day, and in 2008, she wrote a yet to be published book titled, “How Many Days ‘til Moab?”

From ages 17-35, Jennifer was involved with the training and showing of Reined Cowhorses. In 2009, she decided to take a break from horses and explore a world that she had not yet experienced. She hiked in the desert, rappelled off canyon walls, climbed 14,000’ peaks, canoed and kayaked rivers, camped in a tent, learned to shoot, motorcycled and bicycled more miles than can be counted, and even flew 22 hours one way to trek in the Kingdom of Bhutan!

In addition to the fun stuff during this time, Jennifer held a steady job in the mortgage industry, gained an Associates of Arts degree–studying Anthropology, and volunteered for the National Park Service.

Since then, Jennifer went back to her first love, the western equine community,  as a show secretary, manager, program coordinator, cheerleader and podcaster!

Her current 9-5 hours are spent being a Customer Service Representative for an aviation manufacturing company – you just never know where she may turn up.

Jennifer now lives in Oklahoma, close to her dad, and she has adopted 3 stray cats.
